Pastewka is a German television sitcom that began airing on German TV channel Sat.1 in 2005. The series, currently in its sixth season, is set in Cologne, with German actor Bastian Pastewka starring as a fictionalized version of himself. It has been compared to Seinfeld and Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. The series was awarded, among others, the Rose d'Or and the German Television Prize. Series was directed by Joseph Orr and Jan Markus Linhof.

The Pastewkas haven't talked to each other for weeks. Anne and Svenja have forged a plan: The girls have sent them on a self-finding trip into the Eifel. Soon the Pastewkas are standing in the middle of a forest with their therapist Ecki.
Anne's parents get married again. They could not live without each other. Bastian and Anne have cancelled their wedding. Although Anne does not admit it in front of Bastian, she seems to be somewhat disappointed about it.
Bastian, Hagen and Volker are still located in the Eifel but shocked after finding the dead body of therapist Ecki. Volker Pastewka has left to get help but never came back.
