Steve and Stefan arm themselves with roses and rings as they both decide to propose to Laura. Stefan is Carl's choice because he wants Steve to return to his perfect ex-girlfriend, Myra Monkhouse, and marry her instead. Laura struggles with her choice because no matter what happens, her decision will cost her one of the guys. Harriette tells her that no matter what decision she makes, they'll support her.
