A group of young supermarket employees face the everyday challenges of the branch. Under the direction of branch manager Thorsten, the employees try to cope with all catastrophes and dramas, such as stealing employees, a mouse plague or dissatisfied customers, from store opening to closing time. It is not uncommon for employees to reach their limits.

Because of the bad employee evaluations, Sabine has sent a trainer for non-violent communication to the supermarket. Many tears flow during the course and Thorsten throws fruit around.
The health inspectors are coming. Unannounced. In the meantime, the staff are playing truth or dare in the parking lot.
Sabine sends a consultant to Kolinski to get the branch out of the red. For the first time, the staff has to really work. They're not used to this, which is why Thorsten and his employees quickly realize - Lewicki has to go.
